Maack is the founder and co-owner of ANDREA MAACK PARFUMS. She launched her eponymous line of unique fragrances in September 2011 at Pitti Fragranze through artistic fragrance distributor Intertrade Europe. Intertrade Europe, who also works with renowned brands such as Byredo, Nasomatto, and New York cult brand Six Scents, felt the collection was a perfect complement to its array of artistic fragrances. The niche brand, now retailing in over 60 shops worldwide, has fast become a favorite with both the perfume world and the fashion/art crowd. Because of its unusual background and story, the brand crosses between art, fashion and scent.
Smart started with a delicate pencil drawing, mapping the road to this unique scent.
Developed for an art exhibition, the inspiration for Smart comes from an empty
white gallery space. At first it is a light scent but as you go deeper it has a darker,
slightly erotic mood lurking under the surface. An addictive scent with hidden notes,
completely unique in its own way.
Ingredients: Violet leaf, jasmine, sandalwood, vanilla, white musk, buckskin.
Craft stands for Couture Art, drawing heavily on the originality of artists.
This scent was created for a museum show to enhance the experience of
a unique work of art, a hand made sculptural dress made from original
pencil drawings. With Craft, you can feel the concentration, the charcoal
colliding with paper and the sheer perseverance of the artist. As an homage
to Haute Couture and unusual fragrances, Craft is a godlike scent for a
once in a lifetime experience.
Ingredients: Aldehydes, elemi, cold metal, ice, cedar wood, patchouli.
Sharp was made for an art exhibition to accompany an artisanal dress
with drawings carved into the material, creating a repetitive signature pattern.
The precision of the artwork can be found in the essence of this scent, within
the delicate layering of notes, which sharpen as the perfume is dissected.

Dark is heavily oxidized rose mixed with violets and leather. Its a take on
