If there was ever a sentence that covered the holy trinity for women it would be this: Paris...shopping...shoes. And when this trifecta occurs, boy is it exquisite! There is no greater testament to this than the allure of the three Repetto stores dotted throughout Paris - 22 Rue Paix, 51 Rue du Four and 24 Rue de Châteaudun.
The house of Repetto was originally (and still is, to a great extent) a ballet shoe company. It was founded in 1947 by Rose Repetto at the request of her son Roland Petit, who was both a dancer and a choreographer. Since then, Repetto has become renowned internationally for its premium craftsmanship and sophisticated products.
Ballet remains the soul of the house, however their 'street' shoes (ballet flats, heels, boots, brogues etc) are taking the fashion world by storm, due to not only their unique colours and elegant yet sexy styles, but also for their unmatched level of comfort and flexibility. They really do tick all the (shoe) boxes!
