Red, rouge, rojo, rosso...however you say it, the colour red is evocative in any language. After seeing the above press photo of the gorgeous Maurie & Eve Peplum Dress, it got me in the mood to do a little red feature. While it is indisputably a striking colour, it can conjure up a bounty of looks and feels depending on the context... it can be flirtatious (in the case of the Peplum), theatrical (in the case of the Karla Spetic), unconventional (in the case of the Acne brogues) or commanding (in the case of Ashley Olsen's ensemble). Whatever the guise, it is certain to provoke a smile during even the dreariest of weather.
